CWSB has been participating actively in the dissemination of HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns within the region.  Great strides have been made in life expectancy, through information passed to people by means of advocacy, issue of books, pamphlets, T-shirts/caps with HIV/AIDS slogans among others.

The Board organized successful workshops in various places as follows:

1.Lamu: March 18th 2006

2.Tana River:April 8th 2006

3.Lotus Hotel:May 13th 2006

4.Malindi:September 27th 2006

5.Kilifi:November 16th, 2006

The general consensus is that more of such workshops should be organized in future.
